At the age of 14 I attended practices with Tayside Police Pipe Band, then led by Piper Major Terry Reid and Pipe Sergeant Lindsay Ellis. This tune was played in one the medleys and brings back good memories. I stood next to Harry King at each practice and won my first ever solo contest with his Inveran wooden chanter.
