I can’t remember exactly what year it was, but this tune was one of the marching over the drawbridge tunes to open the Edinburgh Military Tattoo. It was always terrifying exeperience and thankfully of the 80/90 odd shows I performed I only slipped once on the slippery wood whilst wearing the full number ones, whacking my wrist off the solid stone wall leaving me unable to play a birl for the rest of that night!
