As a youngster I finished off my junior MSR sets with Mrs MacPherson of Inveran, having played the Argyllshire Gathering and Cameronian Rant as my march and strathspey. I recorded Mrs MacPherson round with accompaniment from Alistair Cassidy on guitar around 8 years ago. I first heard the tune being played round on BBC Alba by two fiddle players who also played harmony, it blew my mind!
